COVID-19 Business Updates

A Note From Trapollo CEO Mike Braham Regarding COVID-19

With recent developments unfolding on COVID-19 and its transmission, we want to share with you actions we are taking to ensure continuity of Trapollo’s business operations and protect the health and safety of our employees, customers and patients that we serve.  This includes using the guidelines set forth from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to reduce exposure to the best of our ability.

Some of the measures we have put in place to maintain the productivity and safety of our clients and our staff include:

  • Keeping in close communication with our suppliers to monitor available medical device inventory and order fulfillment timeframes. The pandemic significantly impacts our supplier base. Suppliers are reporting spikes in purchase volumes which adversely impacts both availability and delivery timelines. As the situation progresses, we anticipate there will be shortages and outages. To help mitigate the impacts to your programs, our Account Managers and Program Support Specialists are ready to support you. They will partner with you to review current inventory levels, assess ordering needs, develop price quotes and secure signed purchase orders. Purchase orders are the most effective way to ensure your needs are communicated to our suppliers and puts you in the queue for inventory when it becomes available.
  • Trapollo will continue to stay abreast of any changes in delivery services and will let you know if we foresee any potential delays.
  • As part of our protocols, we have heightened returned medical device cleaning and disinfecting procedures and are monitoring CDC’s guidelines. As the situation evolves, we will implement additional preventative measures to ensure the wellbeing of our employees and customers served.
  • All Trapollo employees have been provided with procedures to follow if they or a member of their immediate family become affected by the virus. Our parent company, Cox Communications has been proactive in implementing technology and processes to enable our employees to work remotely without disruption of our core services. We are fully confident that we will be able to conduct daily business activity as normal.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event. We appreciate the hard work and commitment of healthcare workers who are on the front line working to care for those affected and contain this virus.

We recognize that this is an ever-changing situation and are continually assessing our policies as new developments occur. We are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will continue to adjust our business operations as required. We are committed to doing all that we can in order to minimize any disruption while always keeping the safety of our customers, patients and employees top of mind.
